FACIAL REJUVENATION ACUPUNCTURE FAQ's

Does Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture really work?

A 1996 report in the International Journal of Clinical Acupuncture* reported that in 300 cases treated with Facial Acupuncture, 90% had marked effects with one course of treatment. The documented effects included:

  • Improvement of the elasticity of facial muscles

  • Leveling of wrinkles

  • Overall rejuvenation–not confined to face.

Are there any reviews I can read?

What happens during a treatment and how many will you need?

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture employs the use of the highest quality, pre-sterilized, disposable acupuncture needles inserted gently around the face, neck and scalp. Body points are also used to address underlying causes contributing to the aging process. While your skin is reacting to the subtle stimulation, the treatment is also adjusting the energy throughout your entire body. The treatment finishes with a gentle massage of the face, and facial exercises designed to further enhance your treatment.

Each treatment is 1.5 hours long and is part of a 12 treatment series (weekly or bi-weekly). Your first session will last 2 hours. Maintenance sessions are scheduled according to the individual’s needs after the initial series. You may see changes as soon as the first treatment is completed, but each succeeding treatment builds on the last.
